Home services website design, local SEO, and follow-up for contractors.

When something breaks at home, the customer searches on a phone and calls a business from the results. We build the website, the local search presence, and the follow-up that answers calls and estimate requests while you're on a job.

Where jobs get lost

Home services website design starts with the moment something breaks. A water heater leaks or the air conditioning quits in July, and the homeowner searches “plumber near me” or “AC repair” plus the town on a phone. If they call a business from the first results and nobody picks up, the next number is one tap away.

Each step can go wrong:

  • You don't show up in the search. Without a complete Google Business Profile and a site that says what you do and where, you can sit below businesses that have both.
  • Calls come in while you're on a job. You're under a sink or on a roof, the call goes to voicemail, and the estimate request waits until evening.
  • Estimates go quiet. Without a simple list of what's waiting, following up on an estimate depends on remembering it after a long day.

We build what closes those gaps: a site and a profile that show up where you work, and follow-up that answers while your hands are full.

What we build for home service and trade businesses

  • A website that brings in calls and estimate requests. What you do and where, a call button and an estimate form that are easy to reach on a phone, photos of real jobs, and your license and insurance details. See Websites.
  • Local SEO. Service pages (and, in the Plus tier, pages for the towns you serve) that match what customers search for. SEO & Visibility sets up your Google Business Profile as a service-area business and keeps it up to date, in your own Google account. See SEO & Visibility.
  • CRM follow-up for calls and estimates. In the CRM & Follow-up Basic tier, your phone, texting, email, and calendar booking are connected, and every lead lands in a pipeline: new, estimate visit booked, estimate sent, won. When a call to a number connected to your CRM goes unanswered, the caller can get a text with a link to your estimate form, and an unanswered estimate can trigger a reminder. Review requests go to every customer the same way, with no reward attached. The written quote lists which automations are included. See CRM & Follow-up.
  • AI that answers the phone. An AI voice agent takes the job details and the address, books an estimate visit into your calendar, and passes emergencies to the on-call number you choose. It tells callers it's an AI assistant. If calls are recorded or transcribed, it says so at the start. See AI & Automation.
  • Changes through the year. We add seasonal services, new job photos, or a town to your service area within a Support & Maintenance care plan's monthly hours. Editing the site yourself needs a CMS, which is part of the Websites Custom tier.

If you run jobs in ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro, we first check what that software already does. Where the platform has an official way to connect (an API), the connection is priced in your written quote.

How customers find and choose a contractor

A search for a plumber or an electrician is local, and your Google Business Profile can show up in it next to your website. Google says a business that serves customers at their address, and not at its own, should hide its address and keep its service area within about two hours of driving from where it is based. SEO & Visibility sets up the profile that way.

Then the customer chooses who to let into their home. A site that shows your license number, the areas you cover, and photos of real jobs answers their questions before the call. If a face, a house number, or a license plate shows in a job photo, ask the customer first.

Leads you pay for, from Angi, Thumbtack, or Google Local Services Ads, need the same fast reply. Whether a lead service can send its leads into your CRM depends on the service. We check before we quote, and the connection is priced in your written quote.

How a project runs

It starts with a free 30-minute call. Within three business days, you get a written quote: the scope and a fixed price or a price cap. After you sign, we start with Discover, which is included in the price. The work follows four steps:

  1. Discover. The jobs you want more of, the towns you want to work in, and where calls and estimate requests get lost today.
  2. Design. The path from a search to a call, with the phone number and the form where a customer looks for them.
  3. Build. We build the site, set up the follow-up in your quote, and test every form and call path on a phone before launch.
  4. Grow. The first 30 days after launch are included. After that, local SEO and improvements are services of their own. Every account is in your name.

The rules worth knowing in the US

We build to these rules, and your licensing board or lawyer confirms how they apply to you.

  • License numbers in ads. In Texas, ads by electrical, air conditioning, and plumbing contractors must show a license number (TDLR, 16 TAC §73.51 and §75.71; the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, 22 TAC §367.10). In Florida, each ad by a registered or certified contractor must carry that registration or certification number, regardless of medium (Fla. Stat. §489.119(5)(b); §489.521(7)(b) for electrical contractors). If your trade is licensed, we put the license number your board requires in the site's footer by default, so it's on every page.
  • Text messages. Replies to someone who contacted you first are service messages. Marketing texts go only to people who opted in, and every text has an easy way to stop. US carriers require business texts from a local number to be registered (A2P 10DLC), and Texas and Florida add their own rules for marketing texts.
  • Reviews. The FTC's rule on consumer reviews bans rewards tied to a review's sentiment, positive or negative. Google bans any incentive for a review and asking only happy customers.
  • Local Services Ads. Google checks a business before these ads run, and the checks vary by trade and location. In August 2026, Google began moving these ads into Google Ads for US home service trades, and what it checks can change with the move, so check what your own account asks for.

What we don't do

  • We don't give legal advice. Which license and advertising rules apply to your trade is a question for your licensing board.
  • We don't run paid ads or guarantee rankings. Local SEO grows over months. If you need calls sooner, paid search ads can be faster, and we'll say so on the call.
  • We don't lock you in. The site, the domain, the profile, the CRM, and the data are in accounts you own. If you change providers, all of it goes with you.
